My mother left today for home, & I was left to my own devices. I will miss her insanely for the next ten weeks. While I love my college, I will forever stay a Californian at heart and I will forever love my parents more than anything.
As for life here...all I can say is thank goodness I am not a freshmen. I remember this time last year when I was still trying to find all my classes & get used to be a college student. Making first impressions seemed so alien and important because I knew nobody. But as a sophomore, life is considerably easier because friends are already made. There are no longer the awkward silences during forced bonding activities, no longer the obligation to be so polite that one loses the ability to be truly honest about one's positions, etc. A lot of my friends were complaining about how we have lost the privilege of being catered to since we are no longer freshmen anymore. I don't know. I feel like at Williams College, everyone looks after one another. I'm not terribly concerned in this regard.
Classes start two days from today. Four classes, three in a row on Tues & Thurs. Good luck to me!

Kle's New Room & Laundry Problems
Moving in was so difficult. But I am almost done, thanks to my wonderful mommy & some good friends. :) The only thing bad about my new living quarters is the insanely difficult route to the laundry room. However, my mom keeps telling me I have it good since I don't have to go scout out a Laundromat. Still! I have to exit my building, only to enter through another door. How am I supposed to do that when it's snowing? I will figure it out, I suppose...
